Factory Tour

Processing of Workwear

All garments are scanned into the Plant.  The garment carries a unique 8 digit barcode number. This unique number gives the customer complete garment traceability, presentation and repair history reports.

The garments are sub-sorted into garment classification, weighed and laundered.
The flexibility in our wash process enables us to remove all types of soiling via
specialist processes.

All garments are tunnel finished. The Tunnel Finisher conveys the garments by hanger into a steam section of the tunnel for crease removal, followed by a hot air section which dries the garment. The garments are conveyed by a rail system for folding and packing, garments that require repair are sent to our Repair Section. All garment repairs are entered onto our computer system against the wearer/Company name.

Garments are folded and sub-sorted into customer order. The garments and delivery note are packed into canvas hamper bags in readiness for delivery to the customer. The Hamper bags are sorted into Route order by our Transport Department.

Our Company is supported by an experienced Team of Drivers. Our modern fleet of vehicles are equipped with mobile telephones and a satellite tracking system. All our drivers follow a comprehensive Induction and Training Programme, our priority is at all times to give an efficient, reliable service.
